Pat Scola Welcomed as ASC Member

Pat Scola, ASC won the Society’s Spotlight Award in 2021 for Pig and received a Film Independent Spirit Award nomination last year for We Grown Now. The New York native started learning his craft as a student at Emerson College, where he worked on nearly 50 short films, music videos and video-art projects, and he credits his peers with being particularly influential at that time: “Elie Smolkin [CSC] and Larkin Seiple were doing things that pushed me to elevate the work I was doing.
