Prieto in Person in Savannah Oct. 26

Rodrigo Prieto, ASC, AMC will discuss his work on The Homesman following a screening of the film at the Savannah Film Festival Oct. 26 at 11 a.m.

Directed by and co-starring Tommy Lee Jones (seen at top of page with Prieto), the period drama follows an independent woman (played by Hilary Swank) who escorts three mentally ill women across the Nebraska Territories, accompanied by a drifter (Jones) she coerces into assisting her on the journey.

Prieto will be interviewed by journalist Thelma Adams after the screening, which is sold out, according to the festival's website.

American Cinematographer will cover The Homesman in its November issue.
