ASC Master Class Update

A full schedule of sessions will take place in Hollywood, Brooklyn and Mexico City.

The next ASC Master Class takes place in Hollywood on September 9-13. One of the primary instructors will be Robert D. Yeoman, ASC (pictured above). His credits include The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Bridesmaids and the upcoming The French Dispatch.


Following this, the next scheduled Hollywood sessions take place on October 21-25, May 11-15, 2020 and March 16-20, 2020. (Registration is now open.)


Later this fall, a special Master Class held in Hollywood on November 4-8 will focus on shooting motion-picture film, with generous support from Eastman Kodak and FotoKem. On November 18-22, a special session on multicam lighting will be conducted at Sony’s new Digital Media Production Center facility in Los Angeles.


Details on both are TBA. 


On the East Coast, another two-day edition of the Master Class will be held in Brooklyn on October 19-20 at AbelCine New York.­­­­­ A complete story about the inaugural session held in partnership with AbelCine can be found here. (Registration is now open).

Finally, the next ASC International Master Class, held in partnership with ARRI, will take place in Mexico City on October 18-20. Registration is now open and complete details will be forthcoming. Learn much more about this program here
